Five product families, one methodology

Every product in the chain, from clinker to precast element.

Cement products are declared cradle to gate, because they become constituents of concrete. Concrete and precast carry the full life cycle, including recarbonation in use, so the declaration covers whole-life figures.

Walkthrough

Enter, calculate, report, share, export.

01Enter data. Materials, manufacturing, transport, storage, construction, use and end of life, with defaults from ecoinvent and the GCCA GNR database where you have no plant figure.

02Calculate. The pre-verified model runs the LCA and reports every required indicator, with mass and energy balance checks as you go.

03Report. Export the self-declaration as a PDF and the background report as an Excel file for the verifier.

04Share. Manage EPDs in the dashboard, duplicate them for other plants or countries, and share them across your organisation.

05Export digitally. ILCD+EPD files, or the API to push data in and pull results out of your own systems.

Pre-verified and recognised

The International version is verified by Studio Fieschi and recognised as a pre-verified LCA tool by EPD International. The North American version is verified by the Athena Sustainable Materials Institute.

Three outputs from one workflow

Self-declaration01
Product information and results for all indicators, in GCCA format as a PDF. A draft output, not yet an independently verified EPD.
Background report02
The complete set of inputs, assumptions and results as an Excel file, for the third-party verifier and your own analysis.
Digital EPD file03
ILCD+EPD export for the ECO Portal, building LCA software and procurement platforms.

The International version is listed as a pre-verified tool on the International EPD® System's EPD Portal: EPDs calculated with it are verified with the Simplified Verification Report, in which the methodological checks are pre-ticked and only your data is examined.
