# Concrete EPD verification and publication

> Turn a GCCA EPD Tool background report into an independently verified, published EPD, through GCCA's collaboration with Labeling Sustainability.

The GCCA EPD Tool produces a full **background report** for each product, calculated with GCCA's harmonised, standards-compliant methodology. That report is the technical basis for a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).

Through our collaboration with [**Labeling Sustainability**](https://www.labelingsustainability.com/), companies can turn those background reports into independently verified and published EPDs.

EPDs can be published either:

- directly by [Labeling Sustainability](https://www.labelingsustainability.com/), or
- through [EPD Global](https://www.epd-global.com/) (formerly EPD Norge) as the programme operator.

## How the process works

01**Submit the online form.** Complete the form on this page to start verification and publication.

02**Provide the additional information.** Labeling Sustainability will send you a spreadsheet of further required information. Complete and return **one spreadsheet per EPD** directly to them.

03**Submit the complete information package.** Send Labeling Sustainability:

- a completed GCCA background report for each EPD
- the completed spreadsheet from step 2
- a high-quality cover image (PNG) for each facility, if different
- a high-resolution company logo (PNG)

04**Review the draft EPD.** Within five business days of receiving the complete package, you receive a draft EPD for review and approval.

05**Final verification and publication.** Within 10 business days of your approval, you receive either comments or a verification letter confirming approval. Once approved, the EPD is submitted to the selected programme operator for publication.

GCCA's role is only to connect you with Labeling Sustainability. GCCA receives your completed form and forwards it to Labeling Sustainability, who then contact you directly about next steps. GCCA is not involved in verification, technical review, approval decisions, EPD publication, contracting or billing. These are handled directly between your company and Labeling Sustainability (and, where relevant, the selected programme operator).
